A dedicated member of the Malaysian Association of Orthodontists (MAO), Dr. Noraini has held significant leadership roles, serving as its President for five terms and Vice President for three terms, breaking barriers as the first Sarawakian to do so. Her influence extends beyond national borders, as evidenced by her involvement in various orthodontic committees and organizations, including her tenure as an Executive Committee Member of the Asian Pacific Orthodontic Society and as a Councillor of the World Federation of Orthodontists.

Dr. Noraini’s commitment to excellence is further underscored by her pursuit of fellowships in Cleft Lip and Palate and Craniofacial Anomalies, first at Canniesburn Hospital in Glasgow and later at Great Ormond Street Hospital in London and Liverpool Hospital. Her extensive experience includes invaluable contributions to the West of Scotland Cleft Lip & Palate Team and Joint Specialist Clinics for Clefts & Craniofacial Anomalies.

Recognized for her dedication to advancing orthodontic practices, Dr. Noraini is instrumental in organizing scientific conferences of international standards in Malaysia and prioritizes continuous professional development by attending annual scientific orthodontic conferences worldwide.
